Stir fried carrot and pea


Ingredients:


  • Peas 150g
  • Carrot 200g
  • Ginger 15g, diced
  • Green onion (onion) 20g, diced
  • Cooking oil 20g
  • Salt 3g

Directions:


  1. Shred the carrot into tiny blocks.
  2. Wash the peas and remove the water.
  3. Pour the cooking oil into a wok and turn on the stove, when oil gets hot add the ginger and stir fry.
  4. When there's good smell coming out add the carrot and keep stir frying.
  5. After one minute add the peas and continue stir frying.
  6. After two minutes add some water into the wok, till it covers all the materials and slowly stir fry them.
  7. When the water is almost gone add the green onion (onion) and salt and stir, when everything's mixed well the dish is ready.

Braised Chinese cabbage and tofu recipe


Ingredients

  • Chinese cabbage 300g
  • Tofu 200g
  • Carrot 50g
  • Salt 3g
  • Green onion (onion) 10g
  • Ginger 5g
  • Cooking oil 20g
  • White pepper (0,5 teaspoon)


Directions:
 
  1. Wash the Chinese cabbage and drain it, cut it into big sheets
  2. Cut the tofu into small nuggets
  3. Cut the carrot into small sheets, shred the green onion (onion) and ginger into tiny pieces
  4. Pour the cooking oil into a wok and heat it (keep the stove at highest level), when it becomes hot add the green onion (onion) and ginger and stir fry
  5. When there's good smell coming out add the carrot and stir fry
  6. When the carrot changes its color add the Chinese cabbage and stir fry for 1 minute
  7. Add the white pepper and keep stir frying
  8. When the Chinese cabbage becomes soft add the tofu and stir fry
  9. After one minute add and salt and some hot boiled water, which covers half of the materials
  10. Turn the stove lower and cover the wok to braise, check and stir the ingredients every two or three minutes, to keep them heated evenly.
  11. When there's a little water remaining, turn off the stove, place the mixture into a big bowl, then it's ready to serve.

Hot cauliflower salad recipe



Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower 300g
  • Cooking oil 20g
  • Salt 3g
  • Garlic 20g
  • Carrot 50g
  • Green pepper 50g
  • Dehydrated chili 15g

Directions:
 
  1. Wash the cauliflower, tear it into small flowers ( tastier when it's torn by hand instead of being cut by knife)
  2. Cut the carrot and green pepper into small sheets
  3. Shred the garlic into tiny pieces
  4. Pour the cooking oil into a wok and heat it, when it becomes hot turn off the stove, add the dehydrated chili into the oil to make chili oil, leave it for cooling down
  5. Boil some water in a pot, add the small cauliflowers into the boiled water to scald, when they become ripe take them out and leave them to cool down, or you can dip them into cool water and take out
  6. Add the small cauliflowers into a basin, then gradually add the carrot, green pepper, garlic, chili oil, and salt, stir till everything's mixed evenly, then the salad is ready.

Stir fried potato and tomato recipe



Ingredients:

  • Potato 200g
  • Tomato 150g
  • Onion 50g
  • Green chili 50g
  • Ginger 5g
  • Green onion 10g
  • Soy sauce 10g
  • Sugar 10g
  • Salt 2g
  • Carrot 20g
  • Cooking oil 30g


Directions:
 
  1. Wash the potatoes, remove the skin, cut them into small sheets and dip into cool water for couple of minutes, to remove the farina (or starch) from the potato
  2. Cut the tomatoes, green chili, carrot and onion into small pieces
  3. Boil some water in a pot and add the potato sheets to scald for 2 minutes, then take them out to cool down
  4. Shred the ginger and green onion into tiny pieces
  5. Pour the cooking oil into a wok and heat it, when it becomes hot add the ginger and green onion (if you don't find the green onion, you can use some onion instead) and stir fry
  6. When there's good smell coming out add the tomato and stir fry
  7. When the tomato becomes jam add the green chili, carrot and onion and keep stir frying
  8. When everything's almost ripe add the potato and stir fry for 1 or 2 minutes
  9. Add the sugar, soy sauce and salt and keep stir frying, when everything's mixed evenly the dish is ready.

Braised taro with brown sauce recipe

Ingredients:

  • Taro 400g
  • Small green onion (onion) 20g
  • Peanut oil 20g
  • Soy sauce 10g
  • Sugar 25g
  • Salt 3g
 


Directions:
 
  1. Wash the taros and remove the skin, dip them into cool water for couple of minutes, you can also cut the taros into blocks
  2. Add the taros into a pot to boil, when they become 80% ripe take them out, put into a plate 
  3. Shred the small green onion (onion) into tiny pieces
  4. Pour the peanut oil into a wok and heat it, when it becomes hot add the green onion (onion) and stir fry
  5. When there's good smell coming out add the taros and keep stir frying for 1 minute
  6. Add the soy sauce, sugar and salt and stir fry
  7. When the color comes to the taros add a little water, till it covers half of the materials, turn the stove lower and cover the wok, braise for 7-8 minutes
  8. When the water is almost gone turn off the stove, the dish is ready.

Hot cumin flavored potato recipe



Ingredients:

  • Small potatoes 400g
  • Cooking oil 50g
  • Garlic 15g
  • Cumin powder 10g
  • Green onion (onion) 10g
  • Salt 4g
  • Chili powder 10g

Directions:
  1. Wash the small potatoes and boil them in a pot, when they become ripe take them out from the water
  2. Remove skin of the potatoes
  3. Shred the garlic and green onion (onion) into tiny pieces, 
  4. Pour the cooking oil into a wok and heat it, when it becomes hot turn the stove lower, add the potatoes to fry
  5. When the potatoes become golden color, take them out and put into a plate
  6. Leave about 20g of the oil in the wok, turn the stove higher, add half of the garlic and stir fry
  7. When there's good smell coming out add the fried potatoes and stir fry for 1 minute
  8. Add the chili powder and keep stir frying for 1 minute
  9. Add the cumin powder, green onion (onion), salt and stir fry again, when everything gets ripe the dish is ready.

Hot stir fried eggplant juliennes recipe



Ingredients:

  • Eggplant 500g
  • Red chili 20g
  • Cooking oil 40g
  • Green onion (onion) 3g
  • Ginger 3g
  • Garlic 5g
  • Soy sauce 30g
  • Cooking alcohol 10g (any kind of alcohol is ok)
  • Sugar 10g
  • Monosodium glutamate (gourmet powder) 3g, it's an additive used by Chinese people in cooking every day, but if you don't have it, it's okay to skip
  • Salt 2g

Directions:
 
  1. Cut the eggplant into juliennes
  2. Cut the red chili into juliennes as well
  3. Shred the green onion (onion), ginger, and garlic into tiny pieces
  4. Pour 20g of the cooking oil into a wok and heat it, when it becomes hot add the green onion (onion), ginger and garlic and stir fry
  5. When there's good smell coming out add the eggplant and stir fry, when the eggplant gets soft take everything out, put into a plate
  6. Pour the other 20g of the cooking oil into the wok and heat it, when it becomes hot add half of the red chili, when the chili changes color add the eggplant juliennes and stir fry
  7. Add the other half of the red chili into the wok and keep stir frying
  8. When the red chili changes color add the cooking alcohol, soy sauce, sugar and little bit water, till it covers the bottom, turn the stove lower, braise for 1-2 minutes
  9. Add the garlic  salt and gourmet powder (if you have) and stir, when everything's mixed evenly the dish is ready.
